This is therapy that is backed up by objective, scientific evidence that proves it is effective. There have been many types of therapy practiced over time yet there is now good evidence of what works. The choice of therapy I use with you will depend on your presenting issues and goals, your personality, motivation and other factors. Though I have received training in other treatments the following therapies are the ones I most often use .

As well as receiving training, supervision and experience using the therapies above I have trained others at Mental Health Partners in 'Motivational Interviewing' as well as 'Acceptance and Commitment therapy'.
Adults over 18 years old
I have clients that come in for:
1 to 2 sessions for specific issues or to get a better understanding and plan to deal with an issue.
Short Term Therapy (4-12 sessions) for an issue where we create and work on a specific goal together.
Long Term Therapy to address issues that require a more sustained effort or for personal growth.
